The cardigan rib stitch (face side) knit fabric uses a special uneven-textured slub yarn to reproduce the texture of GARA spinning. GARA spinning is an abbreviation<\/a> of the yarn produced to use an old spinning machine that makes rattle sounds like \u201cGARA GARA\u201d.  Although this kind of spinning machines are no longer in operation, the unevenness created by the imperfect machine produced a unique fabric.  Ues new product expresses this unique texture of the fabric with a thick single-rib knit of 11.8 ounces. Because the fabric is thick, the product is sewn using vintage 4-needle workwear sewing machines which makes the seams flat.
