This new regular straight denim is a slight revision of the previous regular straight denim pattern. The rise and waist measurements have been revised. The rise is approximately 2cm deeper, and the waist has been adjusted to be closer to the inch size. A new 35-inch size has been added. This straight denim is slimmer than the wartime model 400WW.

This is a new standard model that reimagines our classic slim-straight silhouette. We have adjusted the shape almost entirely, including a deeper rise. Starting with this model, we are switching our cotton source from Zimbabwean cotton to U.S. cotton to enhance traceability, ensuring consumer safety and improved quality.
The newly adopted cotton is characterized by long, fine, and soft fibers, as well as high whiteness and superior fiber strength. By blending in brown cotton, we achieve the unique hue characteristic of UES denim; the yarn is spun with a distinctive slubby texture and woven into a 14.9-ounce fabric.
The fabric used is UES original 14.9oz brown cotton denim. A special feature of this custom-made yarn, which is blended with brown cotton during spinning, is that when rope dyed, it is dyed in a darker color than regular yarn. Because this original yarn is woven over time on an old power loom, we were able to create a fabric that has a reputation for fading color.
For sewing, we try to use cotton thread that fades as much as possible so that it blends in with the fading of the fabric. Cotton yarn does not have the unpleasant luster of nylon spun yarn and changes naturally over time. Thread thickness and color also vary depending on the sewing location. The fabric is folded in so that it rises between the stitch of the belt loops and the W stitch at the pocket opening. This will protect the stitches by the raised fabric and make them less likely to tear.
These denim pants are a classic straight type. The design is based on vintage denim called the World WarⅡ model. Details include the omission of rivets in the coin pocket, the use of leftover fabric for the pocket fabric, the use of universal front tuck buttons, and the use of all-yellow stitching.

We propose a wide silhouette denim made of 17oz denim fabric, which is heavier than standard denim. The thicker threads will result in a rougher color fade. The silhouette is even wider than the 400-WW, which is the widest denim from UES. The rise is also deep. The back pockets are slightly shifted to the left and right as a vintage detail, mainly to reduce damage to the back pockets when riding on a vehicle.
The material is a blend of cotton mainly made of american cotton, and the shape of the yarn is long slub. The fabric is woven on a power loom at the lowest possible speed (low speed) without tension to prevent damage to the fabric, resulting in a unique texture.

5-pocket denim with a modern silhouette, recreated with manufacturing from the good old days. The fabric used is UES’s original 14.9oz brown cotton denim. The 400T tapered leg has a slightly deeper rise and is relatively roomy around the thighs, but the silhouette tapers from there to the hem. Since the rise is deep, the back pockets are vertically long and large for balance. The narrow hem opening goes well with sneakers. For those looking for a tighter fit, we recommend the slim tapered silhouette model number 400-ST.

These painter pants feature a distinctive look created by the “neps” (small knots of fiber) scattered across the fabric surface, evoking a strong sense of vintage and handcrafted quality. The heavy-ounce fabric is durable and long-lasting, allowing you to enjoy how it ages over time. The use of “red-line” selvedge (the fabric’s finished edge) on the back of the waistband and the side hammer loop testifies to the fact that this fabric was woven on a vintage shuttle loom. The 14.5-ounce selvedge denim is tough and promises rugged, high-contrast fading. The cut features UES’s original silhouette, designed for ease of movement.
Linen fabric is used for the pocket cloth and the fabric behind the waist, taking into consideration the feel against the skin. The front pockets are shaped to make it easy to put your hand in from above. Reinforcing fabric applied from the back and 3-needle sewing with thick threads give it a work taste. The black, camel, and olive duck fabrics are sulfide-dyed, so the more they are washed, the more the color fades and the vintage look increases.
The fabric continues to use the original satin fabric of the UES. Long-staple cotton is very flexible and has a good texture, making it suitable as a material for pants, and is also used for UES jeans. We are particular about the yarn dyeing method, in which the yarn is dyed first and then woven, and the colors of the warp and weft are subtly changed so that you can see the difference from the dyeing of the fabric. (You can see the difference in color between the front and back of the fabric.) The yarn is dyed with a reactive dye that fades to the same color system, making it a material that naturally changes over time. In order to increase the strength of the fabric, an old shuttle loom is used, and the weft threads are driven to the limit to create a dense heavy ounce (13.2 oz) fabric. The sewing specifications are also based on vintage military pants, and it has a modern and easy-to-wear silhouette with a waist belt. The front is a button fly, and the button material is natural palm.
Shorts crafted from 100% linen, 12-ounce denim. We use an original fabric made from linen yarns that are rope-dyed and woven slowly on vintage shuttle looms. Please note that minor neps and slight color irregularities are inherent characteristics of linen. Linen offers excellent moisture absorption and quick-drying properties, ensuring comfort during hot summer days. Its water-resistant nature means you can wash and wear them frequently; as the color fades to a pale blue, they will evolve into a favorite pair. The pocket lining is also made from 100% linen canvas.
This product was developed by adapting the design of vintage work pants. It features “Wabash” fabric—characterized by a distinctive fading effect—which is printed with a dot pattern using the discharge printing technique. The fabric is woven on a power loom that allows for high warp and weft density without applying excessive tension to the threads, resulting in a material with a finished edge (selvedge). Because selvedge fabric is woven slowly over time, the inherent qualities of the yarn—such as its softness and loft—are preserved.
The front pockets are shaped to allow for easy access from above. The design incorporates authentic workwear details, such as asymmetrical back pockets (with a flap on only one side), internal reinforcement patches, and triple-needle stitching using thick thread.
